(Offered with some trepidation given that others here know much more about this composer's music than I ;D)

Fantasy Overture
Flute Concerto(lost)
Holiday Suite
Jog for Two Pianos and Orchestra
Sketches for small orchestra (four?)
Two Characteristic Dances for orchestra[/b]

The Fantasy Overture on Tom Bowling, Op.115 is dated 1945 on the orchestral parts and is dedicated to Meyer De Wolfe: this extra 'Fantasy Overture' is a duplicated entry.

The Jog is (or was) a Jig and is currently missing (aka lost due to neglect), as are Symphony No.3 (op.137) and Three Pieces for String Orchestra with Harp, op.140. The Sketches for Small Orchestra also appear to be lost.

The orchestral parts for the Sinfonietta Concertante do, however, still survive and are in excellent condition, as are those of the  Somerset Suite.

The Symphonic Suite is dated '1942' on the orchestral parts, although only three of the four movements were presented 'in evidence' by De Wolfe.

The flute concerto is dubious.

The Two Characteristic Dances are titled On a Spring Morning and Puck.

A fourth symphony in G major exists in an incomplete short score (RAM MS MS1380, dated Nov 8th 1961).

Thank you very much for these corrections, John :)

I knew that you had been in touch with the publishers regarding Bowen's music and I was indeed hoping that you (or someone) would step in to set me right ;D
I shall amend accordingly.

Given that I am decidedly not a York Bowen fan (apologies to those who are ;D) I think this was a generous attempt on my part ::) ;D

(I am now deep in Hoddinott-country. My goodness, that man wrote a lot of music ::) ;D)
