"Save" facility
« on: Wednesday 10 February 2010, 10:28 »
Is it possible to incorporate a "save" facility, so that a post will remain in my file, should I wish to come back to it.
I have already had two instances, when, while reviewing, the message disappears, and I am left with a blank screen. (start a new topic)
Recently, also,  friends called, as I was halfway through a detailed response,  I had to close off, & so lost the message. As you may guess, I am not computer literate, so if the facility already exists, could you please enlighten me.

Marcus, I usually write my posts in Word. When I get interrupted, I can safe it easily and finish the text whenever there’s a possibility. When ready, I transport it to the Forum (cut and paste), do the spell check and post it.

There's no "save" facility in the Forum software, Marcus. Peter's suggestion of composing offline and then pasting your message into the post window when you have finished is the best option for your circumstances.
