The CD calls Op. 20 the Suite d'orchestre, though. The Symphony is Op. 40, probably destroyed.

Well, the CD actually reads: "Allegro from Symphonie en Fa (or Suite d'orchestre) Op.20"- apparently recently published by Bärenreiter: https://www.baerenreiter.com/en/shop/product/details/BA7913_72/

Is the Allegro the only thing even extant?

FWIW, Op. 28 is probably Gaubert's orchestration....and I don't own it. Could have potential.....

Gaubert certainly orchestrated Op.28 after Fauré's own orchestration was lost. I'm assuming this is the version used here.
