Dear friends,

I would like to inform you that one of Schweizer Fonogramm's latest productions has once again been devoted to Swiss music, and awarded.

I recorded the Württembergisches Kammerorchester Heilbronn (Germany) conducted by Philippe Bach, the conductor with whom I previously collaborated on Raff's opera "Samson."

This disc includes the "Concerto for 7 Wind Instruments" (misnamed, as the timpani have an important solo part), the "Studies for String Orchestra," and "Polyptyque," a concerto for violin and two string orchestras in six movements.

This production has just won the "Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik" and we are very proud of that.

This orchestra from Heilbronn is extraordinary, and Schweizer Fonogramm has begun working with them on a regular basis.
We have another production in the works and I already recorded Sabine Meyer and Dag Jensen In the Strauss "Concertino". I go back to Germany next month to complete this production with the "Capriccio" and the "Metamorphosen".
This will be Sabine's last recording before her retirement, and I am very grateful to have been involved in it.

Salutations de Bern,
Fred.
