Oh nice, this has all the contents and more of an old CD (wow, almost 13 years!) that had very limited distribution and I could never find a copy of.

This has now been released.

Seems like a very fine recording, but there's something odd going on with the samples on the JPC and Presto sites, and also on Presto streaming, specifically with Trois femmes de légende. Someone appears to have mixed up the audio files, because what we know from various other recordings as Cléopâtre is now known as Salomé, Ophélie as Cléopâtre, and Salomé as Ophélie. Spotify, however, does have them in the right order, so all might pan out correctly for those ordering the CD (or not).

The track names on Tidal at least are correct.

Chandos will be releasing in June a Mel Bonis CD with orchestral works, with Elizabeth Watts, BBCSSO and Rumon Gamba.
I do not have details of which works are included, as yet.

I'm guessing Salomé, Op.100 will be on the album together with the Suite orientale Op.48 and at least one of the "Trois femmes de légende", since Gamba and the BBC's performances of them or parts of them were broadcast over Radio 3 last March when Bonis was COTW.

Well the CPO CDs is as far as I know everything original (along with three songs) so I wouldn't be surprised to be basically the same set of pieces, perhaps also with a bonus of some manner.

Judging by the enthusiasm expressed in this thread, everyone will warmly welcome this bonus Bonis material.

Ah, I see there -are- vocal tracks on the cpo set as well (Op.93/2, Op.54/2?) so ... might be, might be.
