There is no complete recording of Korngold's Schneemann?
I have one but did not realise that it was a noncommercial recording. Anyone interested?

According to Koch and to UE the orchestration was by his teacher (Zemlinsky), as he had only just begun orchestration studies.

I do!
I remember that I used to read in this forum that the only relatively most "complete" commercial recording (on Chandos) is incomplete because too much time were spent on correcting errors in parts during the recording session. So they only had time to record the first Act... :'(

I've moved the discussion of Korngold's Schneemann here from the Recordings 2026 topic.
