Thanks for the recommendations Alberto; shall check them out. There are a set of lovely extracts on YouTube of "Peri"(Schumann), Hudson Valley Singers; with a very handsome( and expressively happy conductor; just watch the joy in his face as the Peri gets her desires at the end of Part 3 in THE peroration.
