Again, I own a UPE Classics cd with another 'work' by Imants Kalniņš, namely Pūt, vējiņi! ('Blow Ye Wind'), a film score from 1973 in 24 parts, with the Liepāja SO conducted by Māris Kupčs. I realize I must have ordered a handful of Latvian cds from a Latvian music store that I had forgotten, but am reminded of by these lists again.  :D

Will we ever hear any of his 60s music?  That's when you almost had to be a hero in the west to write listenable symphonies.
