I am pleased to see that Naxos have adopted my suggestion to include the duet sonatas for piano in their superb cycle of Ries' piano sonatas. This 6th volume is now listed as a late July release and includes the early Sonatina Op6, the Op47, and, IMHO, the pick of the bunch - the impressive Op160! This work is surely one of the masterpieces in this particular genre!

I too am looking forward to this release - the others in the series have been well worth a listen, as have the Ries piano concertante works also issued by Naxos.
The piano duet as a form seems maligned or ignored by many record companies, although Koch did a great service by issuing a series of four-hand concertos, most of which I managed to acquire before Koch appeared to vanish.
Slightly off-topic, but Koch had a very interesting catalogue - does anyone have reissue rights?
