Overview of romantic string quartets

No question it's a good piece, although my chart isn't making any quality judgement. He is there amongst the "sung" composers (those with "recordings of some sort"), although I'm baffled as to why I gave his 3 quartets dates of 1870, 1876 and 1883. I guess I can't have read your comments on imslp and made some hasty guesses based on the opus numbers. What a dope, to goof over a composer you were sure to know all about! So Rosenhain rightfully belongs in the 1856 decade, now marginally less "unsung", not the following 2 where I have him. That slightly deepens the apparent slump in the number of SQs published in the decade starting 1866.
