I'm with you on this one, Tom. I've played the CD four times since it arrived last Saturday and feel the music is better than some other unsungs that have left less of an impression on me. It may not get played for another year now, but I will definitely return to it.

Oh, me too. It's just that I can think of better repertoire as yet unrecorded commercially. Wilhelm Berger's 2nd Symphony comes to mind...

The orchestra/conductor are certainly good enough. They have made a splendid job of the two O'Brien CDs.

Both the conductor Mann, who also writes good liner notes, and the Liepaja Symphony are quite good and as you know they've made a believer of me.
