Amazon lists a cd to be released May 10th, intriguingly entitled "Rediscovering Hugo Kauder".  However, the listing lacks more detail than it contains - a soloist "Leach-Sparks" is mentioned, and that's just about all, no works listed, nor album art.  No mention of this disc at the Hugo Kauder Society website - all I can find (so far) was this quote, from the website of the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill):  "In 2014, the Orange County Arts Council Artist Grant helped in part to fund her [Lindsay Leach-Sparks] newest chamber recording "Rediscovering Hugo Kauder," which will be available in the spring of 2015 on the Albany label."  So it's apparently a year late and she's a flautist, but that's all I've got.....can anyone fill in any blanks?!

Thanks, Claude.  I followed up with the Hugo Kauder Society, and they put me in touch with Lindsay Leach-Sparks, a performer on said cd.  She responds:

Hi Gregory,
Here is a list of the titles on the CD:

Trio for Flute, Cello, Piano
Sonata for Flute and Piano
Trio No. 2 for Flute, Oboe, Horn
Suite for Flute Alone
Trio for Flute, Horn, Piano

The publisher is actually Titanic Music (Glen Cortese) and they are under the wing of the Albany label, so all sales go through Albany distributions.
"

Kauder's dates would normally invalidate him from consideration here, but he has been discussed positively on this forum before, so..... :)

There's also a Centaur CD featuring the first four string quartets:

Echoes of VW in some of the writing in No.2 - interesting!

....as well as a cd of the appropriately-named Kauder Trio, containing an oboe/viola/piano trio.  Klughardt and Robert Kahn pieces round out the disc.

Still hoping to hear one of his late string quartets. The one I recall skimming in score was spare, modal, unRomantic, worth noting briefly all the same because - distinctive minds intrigue.
