Wonderful! I love Caractacus. When I was a teenager the Groves recording had been deleted, and I wrote to Michael Kennedy (who must have been bemused) and he made me a tape of it, bless his heart. A great man.

Gosh, I never knew that it had ever been deleted. It's now available for about 10 pounds in a 2-cd set, along with a generous fill-up of the Enigma Variations etc.  Amazing when you think that the double LP set must surely have cost more than the equivalent of ten pounds, back when it was first issued.
