The Cello Sonata No.1 is now available from our Downloads Board here. I must say that the very noisy intakes of breath by (I assume) the cellist at the start of almost every cello phrase at the beginning of the lovely slow movement of the Second Sonata are really very intrusive and surely avoidable.

These two sonatas are beautiful. Thank you for the uploads. My hearing isn't what it was, and I really didn't notice the intakes of breath until I got really close to my speakers. I'll probably always hear them now! But the music is gorgeous - I'd swear I could feel my blood pressure falling during the slow movements.
