Dear members, inspired by recent discussions I have just uploaded a live performance of Brahms's Variations on a Theme by Robert Schumann, Op. 9 (1854) orchestrated by Grzegorz Fitelberg.

Thank you for this rather strange but marvellous piece! For a moment there I thought I was listening to a Delerue film score, but then the Brahmsian sound came sweeping through again. Although it may not quite 'hang together' from a technical point of view (others on this list will know), I find it truly delightful.
