The Thorofon recordings that are the only alternative for sonatas 2&3 have been deleted, so this recording of works by a friend of Brahms with a good ear in chamber settings is welcome. Expected out in September.

Interesting. But Dutton couldn't include all the works they recorded by Ina Boyle without embedding one as an unplayable (for most people) "free bonus" SACD track, because otherwise the music would not fit on the disk. Yeah, yeah. (Don't get me started). Now back to Fuchs.

These are very fine-sounding performances, although I'm no expert. The 86:06 CD played perfectly on my venerable TEAC machine.
