The recent, rare performance of Korngold's remarkable Piano Concerto for the Left Hand in C# Opus 17 is broadcast by ORF 1 tonight (7-30 CET, 6-30 GMT).

The pianist, Christopher Hinterhuber, is the same fellow who recorded all the Ries concertos for Naxos.  Two more different ideas of Romanticism would be hard to find!
