Reverie

An interesting discussion, one which I didn't anticipate.

On reflection I think Alan's point is valid. With such an emotive title one might anticipate a work on a higher level. However, I can't personally get too hung up about titles - I'm more interested in the body of the work.

Despite being obviously "second division" and regardless of the title it's a very well orchestrated piece with great colour and shape. Working on it was an education.

Not bad for a forgotten manuscript left on a dusty shelf.

And not a bad rendering either - in fact, a really excellent one. You know how much we appreciate your efforts here. One of my absolute favourites is Zellner's Symphony No.1 which I'd probably take to my Desert Island. It's got such 'zing' (for want of a better word)!
