Indeed. The 33-minute Violin Sonata No.3 in G major, Op.67 (1894) has some of the most beautiful melodic writing in the entire violin sonata repertoire. It would be an absolute gift to a great virtuoso, although it is superbly played here (shining tone, great intonation) by Andrzej Kacprzak and sensitively accompanied by Anna Mikolon. Where has this gorgeous music been all my listening life?
