Who really is Jean-Louis Gobbaerts?

I was working in Gobbaerts' worklist on IMSLP and I noticed that his works (especially those with opus number) weren't consistent because he scattered them using his real name and the pseudonyms Louis Streabbog, G. Ludovic and Maurice Lecocq, despite I haven't found work with the pseudonym Lecocq.
Later I also noticed some inconsistencies in his publication dates: most of Gobbaerts publications were made before 1886 (the year when he died) and a little fraction was published after his death. However, those posthumous publications are not first editions, at least the ones that I have searches. Most publications with the nom de plume Louis Streabbog (with all its variations) were made between 1860 and 1910, extending also to 1920, having more publications between 1890-1910, but I think that's inconsistent because of the quantity of publications made by that time and for the first time.
That's not strange enough?

About the pseudonym G. Ludovic, most of the publications under this name were published by first time ca. 1860-1890. That's not too rare, having in mind that some of them were reprintings or second editions.

I can think of some explanations for this discrepancy:
1.- Gobbaerts and Streabbog were not the same person. Possibly they were father and son, co-workers or twins. The father and son explanation could work if I can find a son with the same name.
2.- They were the same person but the dates of birth and death are incorrect.
3.- Gobbaerts left some compositions unpublished and he told the editors to publish them under his nom de plume after his death.
4.- Someone published his works after his death.
5.- He never existed and was a fake as the pseudonym Cramer. (don't take this one too seriously)

This topic has left me with lots of questions and if someone wants to help me in this investigation or in processing the worklist, I'll accept some help!
Oh, and check his IMSLP page, I added the worklist and a portrait that I found on some score. The worklist is in progress because I need to filter the works between the pseudonyms of Gobbaerts and his real name.

Edit: Sorry for my bad writing, I really need to change my keyboard  :-[
