Nothing new here, of course. There's already a very serviceable 2 CD set from cpo of Sinding's complete music for violin and orchestra with Andrej Bielow and the NDR Radiophilharmonie, Hannover under Frank Beermann's baton.

I agree, but good that it is receiving another recording all the same. One hopes it may become less unsung, though the chances of hearing it in the concert hall probably remain remote.

The Sinding Concerto #1 op.45 (1898) & Romance op.100 (1910) also received a recording performed and conducted by Norwegian artistes which was issued under the Naxos label in the early 2000s:

Yes, quite. But perhaps the new performances are an improvement...
