Release 14/10/2022
I couldn't find a link to the album cover - it's out there somewhere - it looks similar to the MDG cover(s) - Art Nouveau ish
I wonder if Naxos will redo the 4th symphony they previously recorded with Friedel.

Naxos seems to no longer be providing pdf program notes with their CD description pages, even after release, btw. Too bad.

Performers, by the way, are the Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Marek Stilec.

Haha, much thanks to my fellow music compatriots for updating us on this development. Naxos-Arco Diva did not bother to respond to my queries when I last enquired about the status of the impending release of their new cycle of JBF and V. Novak orchestral recordings earlier this year.

The MDG recording is given a positive review by DH at: https://www.classicstoday.com/review/review-14354

Amazing that the Naxos Direct link doesn't even name the performers (thanks, Alan).

As advertised on Naxos label's publicity bulletin YouTube channel for its upcoming October releases:

A magnificent recording of distinctly second-rate music. I enjoyed it. Mostly.
