Having scanned today's release of details, I find that there are some concerts of interest in the upcoming season:

22nd July: Schoenberg 'Pelleas und Melisande' & Zemlinsky 'Die Seejungfrau' (BBCNOW/Ryan Bancroft)

5th August: Busoni Piano Concerto (Ben Grosvenor/LPO/Gardner)

12th August: Farrenc Overture No.17 (BBCNOW/Nil Venditti)

27th August: Suk 'Asrael' Symphony (Czech Philharmonic/Hrusa)

13th September: Farrenc Symphony No.3 (Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment/Manacorda)

.. and maybe worth mentioning Holst's The Cloud Messenger.

And also the completely unknown unsung (can't-sing) classical composer Sam Smith (https://www.bbc.co.uk/events/ej8mzc>:(  >:(

Hmm... he certainly looks out of place, sandwiched between Elgar and Tchaikovsky! But then the Proms have a history of odd choices.

Am very glad, however, about the Farrenc and Busoni concerts Alan has listed, will certainly seek to go to those.

There are some others fairly unsung works (mostly short) by ladies composers
Mel Bonis Salomè
Augusta Holmès Ludus pro patria
Alma Mahler-Werfel Lieder (orchestrated by C. and D,Matthews).
Lili Boulanger D'un matin de printemps (I have heard it in my city in the last and present season)
Some gentlemen
Puccini Preludio sinfonico
Some works by Stanford

Heard a lot of grumps on Facebook about the less-classical concerts and pieces in these Proms, but I'll say that my opinion of the grumping can be summed up along the lines of wanting to have cake and eat it too, what with arts funding having been slashed, one, and nothing coming from nothing, two...
