Thanks for that notice, Justin. The combination of oboe and organ didn't immediately attract me, but of course as soon as I heard it I thought 'Bach Cantatas' and it sounded perfectly right. The title is entirely apt, as this is indeed a voyage through some rarely heard, strongly romantic music. The Wiblé Meditation , the Oliva Notturno and the Strong Adagio in particular are a perfect combination for unwinding after a hectic day - or after being shaken up by the Reger Introduction & Passacgalia!
