Both versions are also available as CD or download through CDBaby.

I'm the aforementioned reviewer at MusicWeb, and I preferred the original version (Vol. 2) to the revised one (Vol. 1).

Recordings & Broadcasts / Re: Italian Piano Trios

Thanks for pointing this out.  They are indeed delightful works.  Has anyone seen anything that resembles liner notes or even a catalogue number?

Certainly an interesting release, and it is a new recording.  Plano's website indicates that his contribution was done in October last year.

This thread isn't really the place for a discussion of what is and isn't available for download in various locations, so I apologise to the moderators for extending it, and will not do so again after this.

I think a window that comes up when I go to Qobuz saying "Welcome! Are you based in Australia? Qobuz is not available for your country." is fairly clear.

Having bemoaned the unavailability of various download providers in Australia, I should correct myself and say that the Musik Museum label and this Rufinatscha is available from Classicsonline HD and through the Naxis Music Library for streaming (with the booklet provided).

For those kind souls who proposed alternatives to emusic for this download - Amazon & Qobuz - they too are closed to Australian customers.

I am yet to work out why I could buy a physical CD from Amazon UK (or US) but not the same recording as a download.

For some of us, it would be good if any of the Innsbruck Rufinatscha recordings were available for download.  Emusic withdrew from the Australian market ages ago, and the other options that do sell here (eclassical, Classicsonline, Classical Shop) don't seem to have picked these up.  :-[

Those of you who use Earsense will be pleased to know that it is back online.

Many thanks to Kai Christensen who owns it for not losing heart when it was hacked, and taking the time to re-establish it.

Excellent news indeed.

If your spreadsheet is searchable by type (e.g. piano trio) I would be very interested.

Composers & Music / Earsense Chamber Music Database

I hope this is an appropriate venue to ask whether anyone here has a connection to the Earsense.org database, and if so, knows why it has been offline for approaching a week.

I'm hoping it hasn't gone for good, as it is a fabulous resource for unsung (and sung) composers and compositions.

I agree - very annoying, not least because they were my mistakes.
