Title: Delius - Koanga
Post by: edent on Saturday 14 November 2015, 19:05
Thanks so much for giving us the opportunity to hear more than just La Calinda. The Delius Society talks about a reflective "long Intermezzo that closes the opera proper." Does that mean that the Intermezzo is placed after Act 3 but before the Epilogue?

Precisely, edent. The intermezzo is 5:49 minutes and the Epilogue 3:20 minutes! The intermezzo was used at Wexford for the transformation back to the setting for the prologue.
