Title: Prix de Rome recordings
Post by: eschiss1 on Sunday 06 August 2017, 15:53
It seems Hervé Niquet has been recording a series - for Editions Singulares, Glossa, elsewhere? - of music composed for the Prix de Rome by eg Dukas, Saint-Saëns, Gus Charpentier, among others. I like this idea. Several are available to listen to streaming, so will go check the "execution"- looking forward to. (If this has been discussed before will delete thread... I don't see it under a search under Niquet in the forum.)

Ah ok, this (http://www.unsungcomposers.com/forum/index.php?topic=916.0) topic about one recording in the series (Niquet not mentioned) with Ivanhoe, motets etc by Saint-Saëns. Sorry!
