I decided to create a Alf Hurum-post since he has been mentioned a few times on this forum. Hope this can be an short introduction for those who want to get more familiar with the composer and his music. Here's a link showing the Simax-CD of the composers Symphony ++ (discussed on this forum) but also 3 other recordings of Hurums music from the small label Thema:
- Complete works for violin & piano
- Complete songs with piano
- Piano music (2CDs)
On this site you can listen to excerpts from the CDs or download the music.

Prices are in Norwegian kroner (1GBP = 9,60 Nkr, 1 USD = 6,64 Nkr)
A short biography in English:

A longer biography in Norwegian (maybe I will use my summer vacation to translate this one..)

FYI, I'm currently auctioning that two-CD piano music set: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=307&item=130397495315 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=307&item=130397495315)
I find Hurum's piano music to be extremely French -- more delicate than almost any other Norwegian composer.
