This list is incomplete because it appears to be extraordinarily difficult to find information about Max Trapp's music and, in particular, the dates of certain works. I can also find nothing after the op.55 unpublished Symphony No.7. Perhaps someone can help ???

Colin,
Trapp is a very complicated case. He mainly fell into obscurity after World War II, obviously due to being a supporter of the Nazi regime (he joined the party as early as in 1932, so even before Hitler actually came to power). I wonder whether any of his works have been performed in the last few decades.
It's not easy to get information about him. The sources I have are partly contradictory. A major issue is that often they give the date of publication instead of the date of composition. I will check them soon, for the moment I simply give what I assume to be the correct list of his symphonies (partly using newly found out material):
No. 1 in D Major, Op. 8 "Sinfonia giocosa" (1915)
No. 2 in B Minor, Op. 15 (1918)
No. 3, Op. 20 (1924)
No. 4 in B flat Minor, Op. 24 (1928)
No. 5 in F Major, Op. 33 (1936)
No. 6 in B flat Major, Op. 45 (1946)
No. 7 in A Major, Op. 55 (1953)
Thank you very much, Holger :)
The Piano Concerto in the Gieseking-Mengelberg 1935 live recording exists also on the "Audiophile" label (maybe on others as well?).
