Margaret Elizabeth More Born 1903 Harlech, Wales Died 1966
Her musical studies were initially private then at The Royal College of Music under d'Evry. She learned orchestration from Granville Bantock who subsequently became her father-in-law. Her music is heavily influenced by Joseph Holbrook who became a mentor.
One of her sons said recently that 'Bantock was a colorist and she was a melodist.
