Happy New Year!
Twelve tone music completely escapes me...my loss I know.
Don't worry: its audience is tiny. It just has a loud megaphone...
Very funny, Martin. I laughed a lot. Thanks so much.
I got the punchline...wicked!
From the 12-tone workshop of Les Dawson (let the hearer understand):

Bergs violin concerto is not too bad I must admit. Wozzek and Lulu, although they try my patience, are also not bad. Maybe because he was the most ''romantic sounding'' of the lot his music appeals more to me than the others, I dunno.
Thanks, Martin - just watched the 12 tone video - what a hoot (literally), and even a mention of Joachim Raff - oh joy!!
Berg was indeed the most Romantic sounding of the three, and I am actually rather fond of the Altenberg Lieder; some of Schonberg I can manage, but, although I have tried hard, I cannot enjoy most of his oeuvre. And Webern is unlistenable to, as far as I am concerned, alas!
I just love the ending - Stravinsky strikes again!
