Anyone started encountering 388 errors with Mediafire?
"This file has been identified as a copyright protected work and cannot be distributed using MediaFire.
If you own the rights to the work, please submit a ticket."
It's good that they're paying attention to this, but I've never noticed their having done so before today. Interesting. Have they always, or has this been showing up more and more often now with fewer and fewer Mediafire files being accessible? (Or behind-door-no.3, to quote a line from a TV show once popular in America?)
Was this something uploaded by someone else, and you got the message trying to download it?
I have not yet encountered that, but it doesn't surprise me. The American media industry has now decided to police the entire world. There will be lots of "false positives" in the automated system -- music that they say is copy protected but is in fact in the public domain.
