Albion, british composer: I made a mess, since I love everything from this wonderful island (music, literature, people, beer, football....)

Dear britishcomposer, thank you anyway: unfortunately I can't download on the german amazon, since I live in Italy (I don't understand these medieval borders).
By the way, my congratulations for you wonderful collection of british music!

Hello, I am lookins for the Joahnn Samuel Schroeter piano concertos. The only recording available is sold at amazon for 50 pounds: no way!
I wonder if someone can upload the concertos.
Thank you!

Sorry, "fake" was internet slang for "dubious attribution". I didn't know this piano concerto fragment, so I was uncertain, also because I am not an expert on Beethoven opera omnia. Do you recognise some beethovenian clues in this concerto?

Hello everybody at Unsung Composers!
What do you think of this piano concerto fragment:

Do you think it's a fake? Or it could be an early (and rather boring) original Beethoven?

Composers & Music / Re: Reinecke Piano Concertos
Monday 11 July 2011, 21:45
I think that Reinecke's are amongst the most pleasurable piano concertos ever written.
In my previous life I only listened to Schumann, Chopin and Mendelssohn piano concertos, now I can't imagine my life without the Hyperion Romantic Piano Concertos and other unsung concertos. My favourites are Schellendorf's, Stavenhagen's, Rheinberger's.

You're welcome, Amphissa.
Meanwhile I've found a better converter: http://www.video2mp3.net/
It's always the same procedure: copy and paste the url of the video, but the audio quality seems a bit better

Hello, I recommend the Kabalevsky transcription for piano & orchestra of the Schubert Fantasy D 940 for piano 4 hands.
I have found on youtube a recording with
Emil Gilels, piano
Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra
Kirill Kondrashin, conductor
Live in Grand Hall of Moscow Conservatoire, oct. 12, 1962

Since it's not available on a cd, I write the links:

If you like it (I am sure you'll do) all you have to do to have an mp3 is copy and paste the links on http://www.youtube-mp3.org/
Enjoy!
