Just noticed this:https://www.jpc.de/jpcng/classic/detail/-/art/revived-piano-treasures/hnum/7443254 (https://www.jpc.de/jpcng/classic/detail/-/art/revived-piano-treasures/hnum/7443254) The soundbites promise a most exciting release of piano works by these two obscure Swedish women!
Very nice-sounding too. Thanks for the pointer...
Interesting, thanks. I thought perhaps there was a connection with Tor Aulin, but I hadn't previously been aware that he had a sister who was a composer. There is even a Valborg Aulin Society.
Valborg's 2 string quartets are on CD and sometimes played on BBC Through the Night/Euroclassic Notturno (the first in F rather more often than the second in E minor, for whatever reason). They're rather good, in my opinion.
The Valborg Aulin Society website has a YT link to a performance of the Piano Sonata in F-minor, Op.14 from a 1996 performance:

This is most enjoyable music, and what an amazing photograph of the composer. The connection between the two is intriguing. A woman to be regarded with utmost respect, I think!
