I haven't made it explicitly clear before that not only will the moderators not approve recordings which have appeared at any time on CD, they will not approve recordings which are currently available as commercial downloads, even if they have never appeared on CD. This would apply to recordings which were once on LP but never made it to CD and to recordings which have only ever been available as commercial downloads. My apologies for not making this explicit before now.
I've altered the advice which is contained in the "sticky" thread which appears at the head of the Downloads board and will keep this thread as sticky for the time being.
