Raff's lovely First Piano Trio gets a new performance the Trio Nota Bene on a Claves CD (http://www.jpc.de/jpcng/SESSIONID/79e43eccb04b8db435c91ba51094d975/classic/detail/-/art/Trio-Nota-Bene/hnum/3276248). It's the third interpretation to appear on CD and at first hearing (admittedly of downloaded mp3 tracks) it's a less flexible and rather "rougher" rendition than the others by the Trio Opus 8 for cpo and Il Trittico for Divox. The other works on the CD are by Frank Martin, Bloch and Honegger.
