Oh! What a tragedy for this opera-tragic!
Having spent a couple of days listening again to Hallstrom's melodious operas- Duke Magnus ( Marco Polo) and Den Bertagna ( Sterling)- I was so looking forward to hearing his unrecorded Vikingarne. Alas! My recording failed .
Did any lover of Scandinavian operas manage to record this. I do hope so.

Just listened and it is pleasant sounding, yet not something I would return to often. Wish there was a higher quality recording of it, though.
