Adolph Gollmick Born 5.2.1825 Frankfurt Died 7.3.1883 London
His initial studies were with his father1 and later with Henrich Wolff, Josef Kessler and Riefstall. He came to London in 1844 where he gave his first concert as a pianist at Pape's Pianoforte Rooms. He returned to Germany for a period for study, giving concerts at the same time. During 1851 he founded and directed the Reunion des Beaux Arts. He married in 1853 while in Frankfurt and then settled permanently in London. In 1864 he founded The Westbourne Operatic Society and in 1879 he was founder and director of The Kilburn Musical Association.
