I have got both the Alfano new recordings.
Musically rewarding (and not paticularly easy) the string quartets.
Some "fun" from the orchestral recording (excepted the "Nenia" for accordion solo).

The only recording Worldcat lists of what may be the same Bukke is perhaps something related to the finale of Khovanschina- an arrangement?- in which e.l.bukke is a performer... (that could be e.i.bukke?)

His father's name was Ivan, so in Russia (though not Latvia) his middle name would have been Ivanovich. And in his lifetime he was better known as a conductor, so maybe he was performing in that capacity?

Hummel's Fantasie for Viola and Orchestra, Op. 94 is being played by the Dartmouth Symphony on May 5. that's the same day that TON at Bard will play Joseph Joachim Variations for Violin and Orchestra, Eugène Ysaÿe Violin Concerto in D minor (U.S. Premiere) and the  Enescu Symphony No. 2.

I almost forgot 4-30 and 5-2 in Montreal the OSM is playing Emilie Mayer, Symphony no. 7 .
