I am adding a little description to my big project:
- In order to preserve the scores or maybe manuscripts of long-forgotten, obscure and under-performed composers
- To collect, scan and catalogue scores and manuscripts from various big libraries or institutions
- To typeset, edit, input scores into modern notation software
- To generate digital simulations using notation rendering software, coupled with high-fidelity digital samples
In order to achieve these goals, funding and time become the biggest obstacle on my part, and I am finding ways to resolve it slowly. As you can see, the project list items grow bigger by time, many efforts are spent to locate and scan copies of the score, the most fundamental step in this project.
I hope that in the future 10, 20 or even 50 years, these works would be featured in real performance and recordings, thru my simulations, I am sending them to renowned pianists, performers, conductors and recording companies.
What a wonderful post!!
