Has anyone any views on this recently released disk (https://www.prestomusic.com/classical/products/9825586--avril-coleridge-taylor-piano-concerto-orchestral-works). From the soundbites at Presto, the music (including mostly premier recordings) sounds highly accomplished - as one might expect from a Coleridge-Taylor!
As a side note, I have just this morning received a complimentary copy of S. Coleridge-Taylor's recent disk from Somm Recordings (https://www.prestomusic.com/classical/products/9810021--coleridge-taylor-orchestral-works) - including the excellent group from my region, the Ulster Orchestra - and I look forward to giving it a spin!
It's fine. One of those cases where "Well I wouldn't mind having it but I don't feel the need to buy it"
