Title: Alois Schmitt - Piano Concertino Op.75 'Le retour a Francfort'
Post by: promusician on Sunday 05 April 2026, 05:35
I am now doing a remastered mock-up of my previously done work, one of the two published piano concertinos by Alois Schmitt. Enjoy the exciting ride!

1. Adagio - allegro moderato

Did some minor editing, uploaded a latest version

The 3rd movement is a lively rondo with most of the notes in the upper keyboard register, thus creating a bell-like effect. 2nd part of this movement is titled canzonetta, dedicated to the most respected publisher A. Andre, for his greatest support as a publisher of his works.

3. Rondo - Allegro non molto

Thanks, Tsou. The second movement ends abruptly, though, like its been cut off early.

Ya, I initially want to create a seamless gap to the third movement but it's not successful.
