Title: Rene Chesnet (a.k.a Caroline Louise Bourgois); Andante du Concerto (1893)
Post by: Darrel Hoffman on Tuesday 28 April 2026, 20:30
Here is my rendition of this concerto work by a rare-for-the-time female composer.  I was not even aware that she was a woman when I transcribed the piece, since she published under a male pseudonym.  Thanks to the people on this forum who were able to track down that information.

It is a single movement in 2-piano reduction, with the second piano played on strings.  If anyone can track down full parts or the other movements (if they exist), it'd be very much appreciated.
