A new recording of Dohnányi's symphony in E op.40, together with a version of the Ruralia Hungarica, has been made by Michael Francis and the Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz for Capriccio (https://www.prestomusic.com/classical/products/9868867--ern-dohnanyi-symphony-no-2-ruralia-hungarica), expected 4 September. (Duration of the symphony seems about standard, around 50 minutes.)
