Recently I came across two substantial ballades for piano that I consider deserving much more attention. They are Alexander Goedicke's Op. 13 and Janis Medins's.
The only recording available of Goedicke's Ballade seems to be this video played by Margarita Yefremenko. The music starts at more than a half minute into the video as the pianist seems to hesitate for a long time before starting to play.

Janis Medins's Ballade has only been recorded by Reinis Zarins last year on his disc of the composer's Piano Concerto and other piano music. It can be streamed here:

I will hear them tomorrow, thanks for sharing! I was in the search of an interpretation of Gedicke's ballade, as he is one of my favorite post-romantic russian composers and the ballade is my favorite piano genr
For anyone interested in a complete set of the 24 'dainas' by Medins, I highly recommend Arta Arnicane's new recording on Prima Classic (https://primaclassic.com/release/arta-arnicane-24-dainas/).
