It's time to start a thread on 2027 Unsung Concerts methinks. Here's one for which I have just booked a ticket.
The Badische Staatskapelle conducted by Johannes Willig and with Oliver Triendl (who else? one is almost tempted to ask) will play Liszt, Levi and Amy Beach at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe (https://www.staatstheater-karlsruhe.de/programm/info/3182/) on 7 and 8 March 2027:
Franz Liszt (1811 – 1886) Prometheus. Sinfonische Dichtung Nr. 5
Hermann Levi (1839 – 1900) Konzert für Klavier und Orchester a-Moll op. 1
Amy Beach (1867 – 1944) Sinfonie e-Moll op. 32 ,,The Gaelic"
What a superb concert. I wonder if the appearance of the Levi concerto with Oliver Triendl is the herald of a recording thereof. One can but hope.
Possibly interesting - 5 June 2027 in Andermatt, Schweiz: with works by Lauber, Mozart and Paul Juon: Lauber suite romande, two concertos by Mozart and Juon's 1909 "Eine serenadenmusik" Op.40 in G. (https://bachtrack.com/concert-event/homeland-fazil-say-swiss-orchestra-konzerthalle-5-june-2027/440679).
Also re Raff, a 10 January 2027 (https://lesalondemusiques.com/product/concert-4-2026-2027/) concert from Le Salon de Musiques in La Jolla, California, USA will contain Raff's 6th string quartet (C minor), from Op.192. Described (I don't know if accurately..) as the work's US premiere.
