Title: Opening multi-RAR files
Post by: Elroel on Wednesday 02 May 2012, 08:45
INFO ABOUT SPLITTED RAR-FILES

When a file is too large for Mediafire, there is a need to split the RAR's in parts. You can either make mp3's, or zip/rar the files to shrink the file. Most of the time I choose for the last mentioned method, because of the quality of the music-file.

When you like to open the file, you only need to un-rar the first file, the following parts will automatically unfold as well. The only restriction is that the second part must be in the same directory.

The program I use to un-rar is the free programme Rarzilla.

You can also use 7z to unrar stuff. It's free and also works on Zip files and others (as well as its own format of course).
