That was NOT EASY ;D
I apologize for a tiny addition about the discography.
I suppose that some (maybe several) symphonies exist on more than one Danacord Cd.
For instance I have n.4 and n.6 both in then I.Stupel complete series (early '90s) both in recordings by J.Frandsen (late '70-early '80).
Was Langgaard.dk (http://www.langgaard.dk/bagscene/viinholt.htm) or a similar site of any help? I remember reading that the compiler of the Langgaard worklist (Vintholt-Nielsen?) was commended for being willing to undertake such a (so-to-speak) heroic task (this is not in the least sneering on my part, i (often quite!) like what I know of his music, but I can still admit that the sheer number of versions, etc. etc. ... well... ... )
I -think- Fra Dybet is also on Chandos with the first symphony but I'm not positive...
Quite right about that Chandos cd, Eric :) I have the cd but missed it from my final list ;D

Rued Langgaard's piano concerto was based on the best parts of his Father, Siegfried's second piano concerto. This is complete in a two piano version. Siegfried did not have the time to orchestrate it. The two piano score is 248 pages and if orchestrated would be of enormous length.
