Title: Rozycki chamber works
Post by: eschiss1 on Sunday 02 September 2012, 18:59
There's a CD announced very soon of Rozycki's cello sonata, piano quintet and rhapsody for piano trio (Jerzy Godziszewski, Wilanów String Quartet on Acte Préalable) - see http://www.mdt.co.uk/rozycki-ludomir-chamber-works-with-godziszewski-string-quartet-acte-prealable.html (http://www.mdt.co.uk/rozycki-ludomir-chamber-works-with-godziszewski-string-quartet-acte-prealable.html).  Haven't heard the Rhapsody yet but the other two works are good (from broadcasts of other performances that shape my opinion...) (Hope Rozycki by now needs little introduction, but for people new to the forum, see e.g. Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ludomir_R%C3%B3%C5%BCycki).)
