Title: Stephano Golinelli (1818 -1891)
Post by: mikehopf on Wednesday 14 November 2012, 01:16

On Concertzender this week and available to download for a couple of years:

Stefano Golinelli left an opus of 234 works (almost all of them for piano solo). Besides R.Schumann' s praise, he was much praised by Ferdinand Hiller ("Revue and Gazette musicale de Paris", 1842).
There is just one Cd of his piano music on the label Tactus.

John Kersey, piano
RDR CD69

and a DDS CD of Romantic operatic paraphrases which includes a Golinelli work
